Measures in Force & Expiry Time Lines

For a list of all the provisional and definitive antidumping and countervailing measures in force, see CBSA’s Measures in Force.

A finding or an order of the Tribunal that results in definitive antidumping or countervailing measures expires on the fifth anniversary of the finding or order, unless the Tribunal initiates an expiry review. The Tribunal is required to issue a Notice of Expiry at least two months before the expiry date in order to solicit views on whether the measures should be allowed to expire or whether an expiry review is warranted. The Tribunal may issue the Notice of Expiry more than two months before the expiry date when, for example, it is necessary to manage a high volume of cases.

‎The table below lists the definitive measures in force, the expiry dates of each, the latest date for issuing the Notice of Expiry, and the date on which the Tribunal tentatively plans to actually issue the Notice during the next 12 months. Please note: these tentative dates are for the sole purpose of allowing parties and their counsel to plan accordingly and are not subject to input from parties or counsel. The Tribunal will not entertain requests to adjust the dates.
