PART I - INTRODUCTION

The following tables and chart provide 2004 data and the estimates of Canadian imports affected by anti-dumping and countervailing measures. This is an update of the analytic report Canadian Imports Affected by Anti-dumping and Countervailing Measures, 1995-2003 published at the following Web address: http://www.citt-tcce.gc.ca/doc/english/Publicat/rep95-03_e.pdf.

All of the methodologies, data sources and definitions in this update are the same as those in the original report. Some historical numbers are revised because, as indicated in the methodology section of the original report, estimates of imports affected are retroactively revised at the time of the five-year review of individual findings and orders to reflect the availability of better information.
